Yes — MindVsYou is currently in beta, and the first 100 students get full access to every feature for free, including MCQ practice, subjective (long-answer) practice, and the PYQ revision bank. No credit card required to start.

Yes. You can jump straight into PYQ practice — both MCQ and long-answer/subjective questions — as a guest, no registration needed. As a guest, the app just won't remember your history between browser sessions or show you a personal progress dashboard; register to unlock that.

Right now we cover Science for CBSE Class 10 — including a dedicated Previous Year Questions (PYQ) bank with revision tracking, for both MCQs and written-answer questions. Mathematics is coming soon.

Case-based questions are a format introduced by CBSE in recent years. They give you a short passage or scenario and ask multiple questions based on it. These now make up a significant portion of the CBSE board paper, and appear throughout MindVsYou's MCQ and subjective PYQ practice.

No — you just pick the year and subject. Behind the scenes, MindVsYou randomly hands you one of several equivalent question-paper sets for that year (all sets cover the same syllabus/difficulty), so it doesn't matter which one you get. Every download click can serve a different set.

Registered students get 50 new PYQ questions per day (MCQ + Subjective + Revise combined) — this resets daily. Downloading full paper PDFs doesn't count against this limit. Guests (not logged in) don't hit this daily cap, but the app won't repeat a question you've already seen in that browser.

No — the app tracks which questions you've already been shown (server-side if you're logged in, in-browser if you're a guest) and rotates so you don't repeat them.

Yes. At any point during your practice session, you can go back to the menu and choose a different subject or chapter.

Yes, if you're registered. Your dashboard shows your performance by chapter, with labels like "Critical," "Developing," "Average," and "Strong" to flag where you need the most work. Guests see a sample/preview of what this looks like, not their own data.

Yes, if you're registered. Every right and wrong answer is saved as you go, so if you log in later — even days later — your progress and revision history are still there. As a guest, your history only lasts for that browser session.

It works on any device with a browser — phone, tablet, or computer. Just visit quiz.mindvsyou.io and log in.

Very little. The site is lightweight, so data usage is minimal. A full 30-question practice session uses less than 1 MB of data.
